With a degree in Commercial Art/Graphic Design from Appalachian State University, I founded Kim Bolick Design [KBD] in 2002, located in the triangle near Raleigh, NC, and specializing in logo design, corporate identity design, illustration, animation and print design including letterhead, business cards, brochures, newsletters, posters, CD covers, book covers, magazines/ezines, etc. RESUME
In addition to commercial design, KBD offers fine art and gifts using pastel, mixed media and digital illustration, specializing in home paintings (popular with realtors) and personalized gifts including sports posters and tee shirts which are created from photos.
On a personal note…
for fun, my husband and I transport our children to friends’ homes or sports practices and spend every spare moment at either a softball or football field. Seriously… that’s life right now (I’m sitting at softball practice as I type), but I love it and love spending time with my family, including our dog, Rufus. At least it gives me time away from the computer to have a little fun in my sketchbook!
